Purpose:

The purpose of this course is to introduce and acquaint students with the application of modern techniques to management and organizations to increase their competitiveness and agility.

Grading:

The grading will be based on three levels.

First level is worth 30 points for the active class participation and contributions to discussions.

The formal assessments will be a midterm and a final examination each worth 35 points.   

Course material:

The reading material and additional sources for the conduct of the course will be available in the above mentioned blog for 7/24 all media easy access.

All participants should read the brief material assigned for the week before coming to the sessions. Make sure to bring pencil and paper for the in-class exercises.

·         Models of management and organizations

·         The current analysis of environmental conditions

·         List of outstanding modern techniques

·         Applications demonstrated for each technique
